This week we first started on a Peer review & Action Plan so I my partner explained to me his idea and I looked back on his blog and said for areas where they can improve on. After that I made a list of research I needed to collect before I start making my game so that I have a better idea on how I am going to make it and what its going to look like but, I also included the research I have already completed so that I don’t do the same research twice.
Next I needed to find out about my target audience to make sure its suitable for them so I first thought of a age range and gender my game would be aimed for then found out some facts about that age range, then with that information I made the ideal person to play my game on a profile board including their common websites, gaming platforms, hobbies, current favorite game and favorite game genre. Doing this was helpful as then I could make sure its suitable for my age range to play that game and that they will enjoy it.
Once I knew more about my audience who I was aiming it at I did some research on how the characters would look like, how the UI would look like and what functions I would have in it and with that I research I stared on idea generation where I made some pseudocode, state diagrams and a level block out so I can see how the bases of those features I wrote down would work.
